UT Explained

Melissa and I were talking about the UT meet this weekend and why we've never been to one before...so I am here to dispell the myth that UT is:
too big
overwhelming for the swimmers
too far
too long
too many swimmers
Honestly, we had the best meet experience we have ever had. Unlike other meet we've been to, we: didn't get dripped on (Burnet), didn't have to bring our own chairs (Burnet, Temple, take your pick), we had AIR conditioning and didn't have to sit outside, there were real bathrooms, not ones in a wet locker room, food, heat sheets that were ready on time...the list goes on.
It is our favorite meet and we will go back everytime (even Dan said he "enjoyed it" :). Jack is a relatively new swimmer and he loved it...a good day for all! And, we were actually done 30 minutes earlier than we usually are when Jack swims those same events. So, if you haven't been, consider going!
